Neil currently works as marketing assistant at CAA in Nashville, and previously served as program director at the Epilepsy Foundation Middle & West Tennessee where he coordinated the Made in Nashville festival in Sept. 2015. He also serves as digital media coordinator for the nonprofit Springboard Landings.
While completing his Master of Music in jazz studies from Indiana University, he founded and coordinated the Grant St Jazz Fest in Downtown Bloomington, which has continued to prosper and grow for the past 5 years. He also served with local nonprofit organizations Jazz from Bloomington as the vice president, and as the director of the jazz ensemble for the Musical Arts Youth Organization.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in guitar performance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2011, where he played with numerous bands throughout the region and taught privately and in a local music studio. He also was a founding member of the Third Relation Jazz Trio, which continues to perform weekly at the Root Note in Downtown La Crosse.
Neil’s interests include vintage telecasters, vegetarian cooking, cats, Reddit, and the Green Bay Packers.
